Non-profit organization Suraksha Warriors successfully organized an event on Sunday, April 30th, to raise awareness about mental health, women empowerment, and menstrual hygiene. The event, held at Shivolkarwada, Mulgao, Bicholim in Goa, saw the participation of 47 women.

The attendees were treated to informative talks by Carol Fernandes and Suraksha Warriors’ founder, Mr. John Fernandes, interactive sessions, and opportunities to share their experiences and ask questions. The objective was to create a safe and comfortable space for women to openly discuss these crucial issues and raise awareness about them.

“We are thrilled with the success of our Mental Health, Women Empowerment, and Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Drive,” said a spokesperson for Suraksha Warriors. “The event was a great opportunity for women to come together and engage in an important conversation. We believe that raising awareness about these issues is essential, and we will continue to do so through our future events.”

The organization expressed its gratitude to all the attendees for their participation and support, and special thanks were given to Mrs Kavita, Ms. Siddhi and Mr. Suraj, local Organizer and core members of Suraksha Warriors, for their hard work in organizing the event.

Suraksha Warriors is dedicated to creating awareness about women’s health issues and plans to host more events in the future. Keep an eye on their Facebook and Instagram pages for updates on upcoming events, and join the conversation by using the hashtag #SurakshaWarriors.
